How to onboard sellers, collect payments, and complete your first transaction with Lemonway.

Who this guide is for

If you have successfully onboarded, a lot of this information will be familer with you. This guide walks you through everything you need to build a B2C services marketplace. It encompasses the end-to-end journey, from onboarding your first merchant to completing your first successful payment.

The B2C building blocks

Every B2C marketplace on Lemonway is built from the same five components:

1. Create a seller account - See Step 1
2. B2C Onboarding & Verification - See Step 2.
3. Pay-In - Setting up the first sale for a B2C - See Step 3.
4. Transferring Funds to a seller's Bank Account - see Step 4.

When to use this model

This B2C marketplace model is the right fit if:

• Your sellers are professionals or companies (not individual consumers)
• Payments may be held before payout (you control the release)
• KYB is mandatory before a seller can earn money on your platform

Typical use cases include freelance marketplaces, consulting platforms, agency networks, and SaaS service exchanges.

Use this guide if all of the following apply

• Sellers on your platform consist of companies or registered professionals
• Buyers are Individuals

For consistency, the term “Seller” is used throughout this document. Other terms such as “Merchant” may be used interchangeably elsewhere.

What Lemonway manages on your behalf

Lemonway takes care of the heavy lifting on the payments side:

• Seller identity verification (KYB) account creation
• Wallet creation
• Processing Pay-ins and Pay-outs
• Performs compliance checks
