A Bank Transfer notification may be flagged as “unresolved” for multiple reasons:

Solution

The transferred amount (x) is greater than the order total (x)

The customer transferred more money than required to pay the order

  1. Click Attempt to Invoice, which will create an invoice with the total amount of the order.
  1. Refund manually the customer with the difference.

The transferred amount (x) is lower than the order total (x)

The customer transferred less money than required to pay the order

  1. Process the refund manually and contact the customer to make a new transfer.
  1. Click Discard to ignore the notification.

The transferred amount (x) is lower than the order total (x)

The customer transferred less money than required to pay the order.

  • *Example:** The Marketplace and the end client have agreed that some products will not be delivered and therefore a lower amount is transferred.

1.) Cancel the order with items that cannot be delivered.

2.) Create a new order with the correct (lower) amount.

The transaction has no reference

The customer did not add to the reference of the order as the description of the bank transfer

  1. Try to find the corresponding order reference.
  1. Fill the “Reference” field in the notification page.
  1. Click Attempt to Invoice

The reference cannot be extracted from the transaction comment

The customer did not correctly add to the reference of the order as the description of the transfer

  1. Try to find the corresponding order reference.
  1. Fill the “Reference” field in the notification page.
  1. Click Attempt to Invoice

Cannot load order from reference #xxxxxxxxx

The customer added a wrong order reference in the description of the transfer

  1. Try to find the corresponding order reference.
  1. Fill the “Reference” field in the notification page.
  1. Click Attempt to Invoice

The order #xxxxxxxxx has already been paid

The customer transferred money but the order has already been invoiced (by another bank transfer or for another reason)

  1. Make sure this is a mistake from the customer and process the refund manually.

If not, this will probably need a technical investigation.

  1. Click Discard to ignore the notification.
