🇮🇹 Important Notice for Italian Partners
End of Support for Legacy KYC APIs (Effective July 1st, 2025)
What is happening?
As part of our regulatory alignment and system modernization efforts, the following KYC-related API endpoints will be deprecated for all Italian partners starting July 1st, 2025.
From this date, the Legacy API for onboarding and KYC will no longer be available to Italian platforms. Onboarding must exclusively be done through our Online Onboarding (OO) system.
Endpoints that will be disabled
The following REST API endpoints will no longer function if your platform is subject to Italian regulation or onboarding Italian users:
Deprecated KYC-related Endpoints:

These are part of the legacy onboarding flow and must be replaced by the Online Onboarding process.
What is NOT impacted?
POST /uploadfile remains available for now, but only for non-KYC documents, such as:
- SDD mandates
- IBAN proofs (RIB)
⚠️ Do not use uploadfile for KYC documents. These must be submitted exclusively through the Online Onboarding flow, which handles proper slot allocation and validation.
PUT /accounts/kycstatus/{accountid} will still be accepted for closing accounts only (not for reopening), and only by partners with KYC delegation.
Timeline
Effective Date: July 1st, 2025
From this date onward, onboarding using the endpoints listed above will be technically blocked for Italian partners.
What should you do?
Complete your Online Onboarding integration before July 1st.
