Payment Flow

Payments processed using Lemonway's payments platform can follow one of three flows:

Direct

You collect your customer's payment details and then submit them to Lemonway. The payment is completed without the customer leaving your website or app. Cards and some direct debit methods follow this payment flow.

Redirect

You collect your customer's payment details, and you then redirect them to the payment method's website or app to verify and complete the payment. Cards, online banking, and most wallet payment methods follow this payment flow.

Additional Action

To complete a payment, additional action is required by your customer, such as paying on their bank app or using an ATM. For this payment flow, you will need to handle asynchronous payment results.
