How it works

Lemonway currently provides services for four APMs:

• iDEAL

• Bancontact

• Multibanco

• MBWay
  
  All Alternative Payment Methods (APMs) follow the same redirect-based flow, whichever payment method you choose:

1. Initialize the payment: your platform calls POST /v2/moneyins/apm/init with the transaction details, the payer's details, and your redirect URLs.
2. Redirect the payer: Lemonway returns a transaction id and a redirectUrl. Your platform redirects the payer to this URL exactly as provided. No token exchange is required.
3. The payer completes the payment: the payer is shown the payment page for the selected method and completes the payment.
4. Get the result: Lemonway updates the transaction status, sends a notification to your platform, and redirects the payer to your returnUrl, cancelUrl or errorUrl.
